Among likely voters, Donald Trump has a 25-point lead (58%–33%) against Joe Biden in a head-to-head contest. When Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is added as a 3rd party Independent candidate, Trump’s lead drops to 20 points (48%–28%) while Kennedy garners a substantial 15% of the vote.

In the U.S. Senate race, Republican incumbent Marsha Blackburn leads Democrat Gloria Johnson by 16 points among likely voters while 26% of voters are still undecided.

Most Tennesseans (58%) say they support capitalism as it promotes freedom and economic growth, while only 9% support socialism because it seeks to ensure equality. 18% of voters say they see both the benefits and the drawbacks of capitalism and socialism.

Despite only a quarter of the state participating in online sports betting, a plurality (42%) support legalized sports betting while only 19% of Tennesseans oppose the practice.

The Beacon Poll found that most Tennesseans support reforming the state business tax with a majority of voters (51%) believing the business tax should be reduced for some or all businesses, 7% wanting to eliminate the tax completely, and 24% believing the tax should stay at the same rate or be raised.

Tennessee voters approve of the job performance of our three statewide elected officials. Governor Bill Lee (+20%), Senator Marsha Blackburn (+13%), and Senator Bill Hagerty (+13%) were all fairly popular with Tennessee voters.
